Ever have those days where you wanted to do more?
I was pretty productive today (grocery shopping, folded laundry, meal prepped…) but I also felt like I didn’t do much. It’s days like this that I’m trying to use as days of reflection and as fuel for my creative fire.
What could I have done today? How can I maximize my time tomorrow? How do my actions (or failures to act) play a part in my pursuit of joy and wellness?
It’s all a journey, that’s for sure.
Since my evening is winding down, it’s time for some self-pampering. A mug of tea, a good book, and a face mask (or two).
Tonight’s routine consisted of:
Playlist: Ed Sheeran ÷ (Playing Galway Girl on repeat is basically how I celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day, tbh)
Cleanser: Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Gel Cleanser (+ my Clarisonic Mia 2)
Masks: Fresh Umbrian Clay Bar and Herbivore’s Blue Tansy Mask (Blue Tansy used first, Umbrian clay second)
Toner: Mario Badescu’s Rosewater Facial Spray (used between and after the masks)
Treatment: Sunday Riley’s Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment
Serum: Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief
Moisturizer: Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins
Neck Cream: Strictevin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream
Eye Cream: The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream
Lip Treatments: Lush Cosmetics Mint Julips Lip Scrub and Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask
As you can see, there are a few repeats from last time. As I said, my routine doesn’t usually change too much, but I like introducing my new or occasional products into my routine. Some product reviews will be coming soon!
Have a peaceful night, my loves.
This sounds like a super relaxing night! I might have to go out and buy the Tarte Rainforest mask and the mushroom mask. They sound amazing!
